On Wednesday, May 22 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Amanda Montague will host an Origami Owl Custom Jewelry Open House here at the Library.  This is a brand new social selling jewelry business.  Create a Living Locket with custom designed charms that tell the story of your life and represent the things you love.  The price of the lockets will run from $35.00 on up depending on your choices of the locket, chain, number of charms and if you add a metal plate or dangle.  Come join us for an evening of fun and build your very own Living Locket!  Every Locket tells a story...What's yours?

Family Fun Night will be held on Friday, May 17 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.  We will be showing the movie "Parental Guidance" rated PG.  Popcorn, candy and drinks will be provided.  Don't forget your pillows, cushions, beanbag chairs or whatever you need to be comfortable during the movie.  Please call the library or stop in to sign up with the number attending this event.

Ann Schang will be displaying her collection of Lady Head Vases in our showcase in the lobby for the month of May.  The head vases were imported from Japan in the early 1950's-70's.  They were made in thousands of styles, but the most popular were models of teenagers and sophisticated ladies.  There are also several head vases that depict TV and movie personalities such as Jackie Kennedy, Lucille Ball, and Grace Kelly.  Stop in to see these pretty ladies!
